The next step in the building project was to prepare the ground for the slab. We needed truckloads of crushed rocks before we could start boxing out the perimeter. Then laying down the waffle pods, and adding the reinforcement steel.

It was hard work and sweat for a lot of volunteers for several days. Monday the 24th of October was the day when the concrete was poured! We are glad that this big job is done and we are now rolling up our sleeves to start the next stage.

Concrete is firm and hard to move, and this is how we should be in our Christian life. We have to have the strength to say no to what is wrong and say yes to what is right. So, like concrete, we have to be firm, standing by our principles and always striving to do what is right.

“Finally my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might.” Ephesians 6:10 KJV
